Banquet Equipment Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Director of Catering, and Banquet Captain regarding assigned duties
- Coordinates with Clients on-site to ensure they are provided with superior service
- Coordinates with Security department regarding safety and security procedures
- Transports and stores tables, chairs, and other equipment
- Secures banquet rooms, supplies and equipment
- Responsible for cleaning function rooms (vacuuming, wiping down, sanitizing, etc.)
- Responsible for maintaining and organizing all banquet equipment, including tables, chairs, banquet bars, A/V equipment, etc.
- Maintains a good working relationship with all departments within the hotel
- Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Exhibit good personal hygiene habits
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs. and push/pull/move heavy items
- Available and prepared to work scheduled shifts and some irregular hours
- Computer knowledge and being familiar with A/V equipment is desirable
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education
- No specific educational background is required; however, high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
