Concierge
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, assist, and provide guests with accurate information about the hotel amenities, local attractions, events, dining options, and more
- Answer inquiries, offer recommendations, and provide detailed information on various activities such as trips, excursions, sports events, concerts, and plays
- Maintain an up-to-date listing of the operating hours for all hotel facilities, local attractions, and events
- Assist future guests by responding promptly to requests for information
- Provide details on dining options within the hotel and in the surrounding area, and assist with securing dining reservations
- Secure reservations for guest excursions, sports events, concerts, and plays, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience
- Constantly update Concierge information books to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information
- Handle all guest requests with complete and accurate information, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience
Qualifications
- Minimum Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or guest service environment
Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and reasoning
- Ability to demonstrate effective stress management and interact effectively with the public
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to learn computer systems and programs quickly and efficiently

- Knowledge of the local area and events is essential
- Must be bondable and capable of handling transactions
General Requirements
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet management and guests’ needs
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, catering to a diverse guest population
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Ability to lift and carry 20lbs to 35lbs
