Licensed Massage Therapist

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, therapeutic massages, and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote relaxation
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine individual needs and tailor treatment while adhering to anatomy knowledge
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage therapy room and equipment
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans
  • Uphold all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with state regulations
  • Adhere to scheduling and appointment times to ensure efficient operation
  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff to create a welcoming and professional environment
Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in the State of Alaska and Insured
  • Minimum of one year of professional massage therapy experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Must have a basic knowledge of massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits
  • Minimum of one year of professional massage therapy experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
