The Hotel Captain Cook is a Union Hotel. Must have a food handler and Tap card.
Beer and Wine Attendant at the Cubby
We are looking for a full-time Baristas and Alcohol certified servers to work in our remodeled Cubby Shop. Days of operations are Monday - Sunday 6am-6pm. Greeting guests, making coffee, and minimal food service. Must have a food handler card and TAM Card. Must be 21 years old. Salary DOE
Busser – Fletcher’s
This position is responsible to facilitate food service in the dining room, bring workstations to working status and the general cleanliness of the dining area. Clearing and resetting tables is also required. This individual is required to acknowledge all patrons appropriately while assisting with information and/or special requests. Salary DOE
Pantry / Cubby Manager
This position is responsible to supervise the daily operation of the Pantry and the Cubby Restaurants. He/she is responsible for daily budgeting and accounting procedures. Position is also responsible to ensure the Preferred Hotel Standards are met concerning the cleanliness of the restaurant and handles all complaints directed toward the Pantry and Cubby Restaurants. Individual should be courteous, friendly and project a professional appearance and attitude always. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the capacity to adapt, combine, or make improvements in programs and service is essential. Ability to deal with stress and posses’ strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, and reasoning skills are required of the position. Individual must have integrity, honesty, and a cooperative attitude towards job and personnel.
Room Attendant – Housekeeping
This position is responsible to service guest rooms while maintaining the Hotels Preferred Standards. This individual is required to acknowledge all patrons appropriately and assist with information and/or special requests. This is a full time Union position. Salary DOE.
This position is responsible to ensure prompt and smooth flow of meal service in accordance with the Preferred Hotel Standards. This individual broils, grills or sautés, and prepares sauces, roasts and seasoned food of all types. Two-year minimum Restaurant/Hotel experience. Culinary degree preferred. Required to have a Food Handler’s Permit. Full time Union position. Salary DOE. Must be able to work weekends. Salary DOE.
Banquets - BEC
Banquet Equipment Coordinator performs work requested in the set-up, serving and breakdown of banquet functions and convention functions. Other duties related to routine cleaning and maintenance of banquet equipment and areas. Schedule is flexible. Must be able to communicate with guests and guest requests, and work with minimal supervision. Computer knowledge is a plus. Must be available days, evenings and weekends. May be required to lift 50 pounds on occasion. Salary DOE.
Men’s Athletic Club Attendant
Versatility is a must. This position assists members and Hotel guests with exercise and facility functions. Individual is required to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the club to ensure conformance with the Preferred Hotel Standards. Salary DOE.
This position is responsible to maintain clean working kitchen area and other duties as assigned by Chief Steward. The individual will be required to coordinates with Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chief Steward regarding assigned duties. Cleaning duties include but are not limited to; cleaning the ovens and grills, dish machines, mechanical equipment, dish washing, banquet setup and breakdown, physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs., and other various duties. This is a fulltime graveyard position. Salary DOE
This position is directly responsible for the operation of the Banquet Events and assures compliance with the Preferred Hotel Standards. Individual also required to greet all guest appropriately and prepare and serve cocktails.
Prefer at least one-year supervisory experience working in a bar atmosphere (bartender, bar back, cocktail server). Food & Beverage, customer service, and current alcohol management certification are requirements of the position.

The Captain Cook is looking for an experienced Security Officer. Must be able to identify and report incidents while being responsible for the security and safety of our property. This is a full-time position, with hours available evenings and weekends. Must pass a fit for duty test. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills are essential. A thorough knowledge of local laws, statutes, fire codes, and health standards is required. Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills are essential functions of the position. Strong organization, problem solving, reasoning skills, and the ability to deal with stress are required of the position.
