Front Desk Clerk
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with the registration and checkout process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience
- Provide information and assistance with special requests, hotel events, and local attractions
- Always maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, acknowledging guests appropriately
- Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure a cohesive guest experience
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a high-end hotel or hospitality environment
- Experience with hotel management software and booking systems
Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in typing and computer use, including familiarity with hotel management software
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service
