Front Desk Clerk

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist guests with the registration and checkout process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience
  • Provide information and assistance with special requests, hotel events, and local attractions
  • Always maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, acknowledging guests appropriately
  • Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure a cohesive guest experience
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a high-end hotel or hospitality environment
  • Experience with hotel management software and booking systems

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in typing and computer use, including familiarity with hotel management software
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service
